Douglas L. Stech Education:I received my Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from Delta College, University Center Michigan, Work Experience:4-2004 thru 10-2005 Operations Manager / Marketing Manager VSS Emultech, West Sacramento Ca. I was responsible for all Manufacturing, Marketing and Product Development of asphalt emulsions for the central Ca. region. While employed here I developed a product that competed with the PASS product manufactured by Western Emulsions. 03-2000 thru 04-2004 Technical Supervisor Paramount Petroleum Corp. Elk Grove Ca. I was responsible for all Quality Control and product Development for the Elk Grove Terminal. I formulated and supervised the manufacturing of all of the Polymer Modified Asphalt products as well as conducted all quality control testing required. I was also involved with the manufacturing and quality control of all asphalt emulsions. 01-1991 thru 03-2000 Technical Director World Asphalt / Henry Co. Elk Grove Ca. I was responsible for Product Development, Quality Control and supervising the manufacturing of Roof Coating, Hot and Cold melt Crack Fillers and Pavement sealers for the Elk Grove facility. 05-1988 thru 01-1991 Research Director Sahuaro Petroleum and Asphalt Co. Phoenix Az. I was responsible for developing, Quality Control and Supervising the Manufacturing of Polymer Modified Asphalt Systems for the paving asphalt and asphalt emulsion industry. 09-1984 thru 05-1988 Technologist Dow Chemical Co. Midland Mi. I worked in the Concrete and Asphalt Specialties department. I was responsible for evaluating new polymers for the asphalt industry and developing new tests to evaluate modified asphalts. I worked closely with Professor Jon Epps at UNR to evaluate different modifiers for asphalt concrete and asphalt emulsions. Additional information is available upon request.
